pedometer challenge 2010 children walking

As part of your festive holiday celebrations, why not get out and enjoy some of the open spaces (weather permitting) in and around the city?
And if walking is something you don’t normally do, there’s an opportunity to take part in a city-wide challenge to encourage residents to walk more to improve their health.
Walking is an enjoyable and easy way to include regular exercise into a daily routine. We are offering a free pedometer and walking pack to those who are willing to sign up and take part in the Pedometer Challenge 2010.
Just tell us your pledge and how walking will help you become healthier in 2010 (maximum 100 words) and send with your name, address and email (if you have one) to Pedometer Challenge 2010, Room 501, Kings House, Grand Avenue, Hove, BN3 2LS or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Breeze up to the Downs!
Breeze up to the Downs is a network of three bus services linking the city with some of its most popular countryside destinations.  Regular bus services run to Devil's Dyke, Ditchling Beacon and Stanmer Park. Timetables are available at City Direct offices, Brighton and Hove Town Hall, and other locations or visit our Bus to the Downs page.

City Parks
