We’re currently trying to recruit discussion groups in three specific areas to talk about alcohol consumption. We’re interested in speaking with a range of older people, who may only enjoy alcohol occasionally, or who may like to drink more frequently. In particular, we’d like to involve people who aren’t already taking part in existing projects, as one of our objectives is to reach out to new audiences and increase numbers using the city’s services.

We will conduct three discussion groups, each of ideally eight participants, in the following three areas:
Group 1 – Hangleton and Knoll ·

Group 2 – Woodingdean

Group 3 – Hollingbury and Stanmer

We would greatly appreciate your help to recruit up to ten people from each of the three target areas. The session would take no longer than two hours and participants would receive an incentive for taking part. As we are aiming to have the sessions completed within the next three weeks, and set up within the next week, we are very flexible about timings and venues and happy to ‘piggy-back’ on to existing events. Any help you can offer would be much appreciated! In particular, if you are able to print off and display the attached poster in relevant places, and to forward on the contact list you mentioned, that would be a great help. Looking forward to speaking with you, Best wishes, Donna

The greater the drinking rate, the greater the moral depravity and criminality. Let's face it, liberalism- ie. unfettered liberty to engage in any and all action, coupled with the unfettered consumption, production, and distribution of alcoholic beverage, leads to human disasters, immorality, and depravity. Turn on COPS and see for yourself how the drunk human debased, degrades, and destroys himself and those around him. If you love mankind, if you value the potential for good of mankind, you would agree that alcohol's negative qualities outweigh its beneficial qualities.
