Monday 2nd – Friday 6th November 2009

This week of action gives local agencies such as the Police & other services involved in community safety, the opportunity to tell residents what work is being done in their local area to make your community a safer place to live.

We will be holding a Community Safety Event to give you an opportunity to meet & learn more about services in your area that are working to tackle crime & anti-social behaviour. There will be a number of stands for you to browse around with advice & information about how you can play your part in community safety. Here’s your chance to find out what we’re doing to keep you safe, & for you to tell us what concerns you the most!

Services Involved ~

Neighbourhood Policing Team, Your Local Action Teams/ Community Safety Groups, Drug & Alcohol Services, Sussex Fire Services, Trading Standards, RISE, Anchor Staying Put, & the Environment Improvement Team.

Working together!

We want to use this event to bring local communities from Eastern Road, Tarner, St James Street, Queens Park & Craven Vale, & the Bristol Estate together to say no to crime in our neighbourhoods.

When & Where? The Community Safety Event is being held on Tuesday 3rd November, 2pm - 4pm in St Mary’s Church Hall, Upper St James Street, Kemptown, BN2 1PR. For more information please contact Becky Wilkinson on 292967.
