National Allotment Week, 9-15 August 2010
Come along and find out more about the city’s allotments during National Allotments Week from 9 to 15 August. The council is working with Brighton & Hove Allotment Federation, the Harvest project and allotment associations to deliver a range of events, including:
Windfarm survey
future offshore wind farms in the UK.
More than 30 of such farms are planned including one off the Sussex coast.

Lewes Road is one of the busiest roads in Brighton and Hove. In an effort to reduce the number of cars a procession of cyclists known as a bike train, will journey from The Level to Falmer during rush hour.

wind turbines. He has made possible thousands of practical wind turbines
across the globe, often in the worlds most impoverished places.

A chance to learn about why bees are so important to our food system and to make seed bombs full of flowers that bees will love. Or, make a seed bomb with an edible salad mix for your own garden, window box or for a spot of Guerrilla Gardening.
