'Ready, Responding & Resilient Grants' for the community and voluntary sector in Brighton & Hove are being managed by the ChangeUp consortium. The funding is being provided by Brighton & Hove City Council to help support the community and voluntary sector to manage the impacts of the recession.

FREE service being offered by Impact
Initiatives to all charities,social enterprises, and community groups whose
turnover is below £35,000 per year.

We are offering one to one support in the following areas:

Setting up accounts systems
Setting up Budgets
Sorting out account systems that have got in a mess and need straightening up
Accounting for grants - or wishing to apply for grants (funders will often want
to see proper accounting of finances)

Do you have a healthy idea?

Can Do Health is a grant fund aimed at new & developing community groups that focus their activities on health and wellbeing**.

The fund will offer:
« Small grants of up to £1500
« Development worker support to help with your application
« An extended period of 'post-award support' focussed on strengthening the group and addressing routes to sustainability for the future.

Community Cash Awards are grants to help young people set up a project that will benefit their community.
