king alfred revealed letter and hidden depths

See enclosed pdf letter. this email is out in the open.
Dear e-list and seafront councillors,
The attached runs to 9 pages and tells you what was going on.  I was seeing in the working case file from January 2007 an increasing take over of the work by Martin Randall and Jeanette Walsh and a reduction in the involvement of Luke Perkins.  I read one email from Rob Fraser that made me uneasy at the time and tried to get Luke to tell me what was going on.  He was utterly silent on the matter.
I asked him if he was still the planning officer on the King Alfred and he said he was.  But it was obvious something dreadful was brewing and of course he, Ian Coomber and Maggie Brian were not present at the Planning Committee meeting and Martin Randall's name was on the Report and he presented the application formally at the meeting.

meeting called to discuss a Gate for Farman Street

Many residents of Farman Street and Cross Street were also in attendance

They told us that the previous gating order was very slow going and had received more objections than any other applications in the city. The Ramblers Association and Local Access Group have issues regarding gating orders.

alcohol consumption

We’re currently trying to recruit discussion groups in three specific areas to talk about alcohol consumption. We’re interested in speaking with a range of older people, who may only enjoy alcohol occasionally, or who may like to drink more frequently. In particular, we’d like to involve people who aren’t already taking part in existing projects, as one of our objectives is to reach out to new audiences and increase numbers using the city’s services.

We will conduct three discussion groups, each of ideally eight participants, in the following three areas:
Group 1 – Hangleton and Knoll ·

Group 2 – Woodingdean

Group 3 – Hollingbury and Stanmer
