Earth Hour Torch Walk on the 27th of March. We do need some volunteers for this evening if you can make it.
Following on from our first Torch walk last year we have had more time to plan this one and make it a little better.

* 20:00 We will meet at the Gossip Café on the Stiene (formerly Frankenstein’s)to register the walkers and we will have a Samba Band coming along with us who will be playing away while we are there and walking.
* 20:20 we will walk over to the Palace Pier to watch the lights go off at 20:30
* 20:30 we will set off on our walk to the Peace Statue and then walk back in time to see the lights come on again.
Then back to the café to wind down from it all with a hot chocolate or something.

If you can come along and join us, that would be great. If not take a look at the website to register your support and to see how you can join in at home even if it is just turning off your lights for an hour. Last year 50.000.000 people took part. It is great seeing the films on what they did.
